Hi everyone!
This is a lovely card suitable for a new baby. I have used the baby bear stamp set which requires a 3-step stamping technique. I have also used 2 very popular products which are now on the stampin up retirement list and won't be available for much longer: the cottage greetings stamp set and the blooms and bliss designer series paper.
Step 1: use the thick whisper white cardstock and the stampin trimmer to make the card.
Step 2: use the navy cardstock and the stampin trimmer to cut a rectangle slightly smaller than the card. Tape the rectangle onto the card.
Step 3: cut a piece of whisper white cardstock large enough to stamp the bear.
Step 4: ink bear #1 with basic black and stamp on the card.
Step 5: ink bear #2 with basic gray, line up and stamp over the first bear.
Step 6: ink bear #3 with smoky slate, line up and stamp over the second bear.
Step 7: cut a rectangle slightly larger than the bear (see photo) using the blooms and bliss designer series paper and the stampin trimmer. Tape bear onto this rectangle.
Step 8: tape the bear onto the card.
Step 9: stamp the 'congrats' greeting from the cottage greetings stamp set using night of navy ink onto a small piece of whisper white cardstock. Attach greeting to the card using foam tape.
Step 10: tie a bow using whisper white ribbon and glue to the card as a nice finishing feature.
