Hi everyone!
Here is a lovely card which is made using the reflection stamping technique. I have used the traveler stamp set and the endless birthday wishes stamp set which are both on the stampin up retirement list and won't be available for much longer.
Step 1: use the thick whisper white cardstock and the stampin trimmer to make a card base.
Step 2: use black cardstock and the stampin trimmer to cut a rectangle slightly smaller than the card.
Step 3: use whisper white cardstock and the stampin trimmer to cut a rectangle slightly smaller than the black rectangle.
Step 4: use the basic black ink and traveler stamp set to stamp the ship onto the white card. Now stamp the ship onto a window sheet. Place the window sheet upside down on the white card in the reflection position and press firmly on the surface. Lift window sheet to reveal the reflection.
Step 5: use an aqua painter and a small amount of soft sky ink to blend the ship.
Step 6: sponge soft sky ink and basic black ink around the edges of the white card.
Step 7: Assemble the card by firstly taping the black rectangle onto the card base and then taping on the ship.
Step 8: to prepare for the greeting, cut a small rectangle from the soft sky cardstock and a slightly larger rectangle out of the black cardstock.
Step 9: stamp a greeting on the soft sky rectangle using basic black ink and the endless birthday wishes stamp set.
Step 10: tape the greeting to the blushing bride rectangle and attach to the card with foam tape.
