Stampin Up - lovely as a tree

Hi everyone!

Here is a lovely card which is made using the reflection stamping technique. I have used the endless birthday wishes stamp set for the greeting which is now on the stampin up retirement list and won't be available for much longer.

Step 1: use the thick whisper white cardstock and the stampin trimmer to make a card base.

Step 2: use early espresso cardstock and the stampin trimmer to cut a rectangle slightly smaller than the card.

Step 3: use whisper white cardstock and the stampin trimmer to cut a rectangle slightly smaller than the blushing bride rectangle.

Step 4: use the early espresso ink and lovely as a tree stamp set to stamp the trees onto the white card. Now stamp the trees onto a window sheet. Place the window sheet upside down on the white card in the reflection position and press firmly on the surface. Lift window sheet to reveal the reflection.

Step 5: use an aqua painter and a small amount of early espesso ink to blend the trees.

Step 6: sponge blushing bride ink around the edges of the white card.

Step 7: Assemble the card by firstly taping the early espesso rectangle onto the card base and then taping on the trees.

Step 8: to prepare for the greeting, cut a small rectangle from the early espresso cardstock and a slightly larger rectangle out of the blushing bride cardstock.

Step 9: wipe the surface of the early espresso rectangle with the embossing buddy. Stamp a greeting using versamark and the endless birthday wishes stamp set.

Step 10: sprinkle gold embossing powder over the greeting and tap off any excess.

Step 11: use a heat tool to melt the embossing powder.

Step 12: tape the greeting to the blushing bride rectangle and attach to the card with foam tape.

Gift tag using the stampin up owl builder punch

Hi everyone!

There are many stampin up products which have recently been put on the retirement list, prior to the new catalogue coming out in June. 2 of my favourite products are on this list: the owl builder punch and the endless birthday wishes stamp set. I am always using these products: the owl is great for bookmarks, gift tags and kids' birthday cards; and the endless birthday wishes allows for many combinations for a birthday greeting. Here is a lovely gift tag which uses these products.

Step 1: cut out a tag 5cm x 10cm using whisper white cardstock and the stampin trimmer.

Step 2: use the tag topper punch to finish off the tag.

Step 3: use the endless birthday wishes stamp set to stamp a greeting such as 'happy birthday' or 'best wishes' on the bottom of the tag.

Step 4: punch out several owls with the festive birthday designer series paper (on sale for $15.40 on the retirement list). Arrange the owl pieces until you are happy with your colour combination.

Step 5: use a small amount of glue to assemble the owl on the tag.

Step 6: tape a strip of festive birthday designer paper series between the owl and the greeting.

Step 7: tie a bow with the whisper white ribbon and glue on the strip of paper.

Step 8: tie ribbon or twine onto the top of the tag as a nice finishing feature.
