Christmas Gift Tags

Hi everyone!

Christmas will be here before we know it so it's time to start preparing to make Christmas cards and gift tags.

The stampin up perfect pines framelits are great for many different projects.

Here is a simple but effective idea for making Christmas gift tags.

Firstly, use kraft cardstock and the stampin trimmer to cut 2 gift tags 5 x 9cm. Use the tag topper punch to finish preparing the gift tag.

Repeat this process using the Christmas Designer paper series.

Cut a Christmas tree from the perfect pines framelits out of the Christmas Designer paper series using the big shot. Use foam tape to attach Christmad tree to 1 of the gifts tags. Use tear and tape to attach the Christmas tree cut out to the other gift tag.

Tie a bow with the white ribbon and glue to the top of the Christmas tree. Use candy cane twine to attach to each gift tag.

Another great idea is the stampin up Tin of Tags Project Kit. It's an easy way to make lovely gift tags quickly and easily. This is also a great kit to get kids started on making gift tags. The kit coordinates with the Tin of Tags stamp set.

Please find a list of products used to make the gift tags below.

Sheltering Tree Thank You Card

Hi everyone!

Here is a lovely thank you card using the stampin up sheltering tree stamp set.

Firstly, prepare a card base using kraft cardstock. Cut a rectangle slightly smaller than the card base using night of navy cardstock.

Stamp leaves onto whisper white cardstock by layering with calypso coral and so saffron ink. Stamp the tree trunk over the top with early espresso ink. Stamp grass using olive and wasabi ink. Trim the tree in a rectangle slightly smaller than the night of navy card. Tear the bottom corner as shown in the photo.

Cut out the 'thanks' greeting using the big shot and festive birthday paper series.

Assemble the card as per the photo using tear and tape adhesive.
